On Feb. 20th, IBM/Israel has hosted a seminar of SHRM Forum /Israel.

SHRM, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest HR professional society, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries. The target of the seminar was to present SHRM to a group of HR specialists of different companies who met together to discuss the new chapter of the largest HR organization in the world - SHRM/USA.
As said, the event was hosted by Eynat Bronfeld-Segal Country HR Leader (acting deputy) IBM Israel in their building.
Barak has described the activities of the organization and the benefits that members can get from being with the organization. Certificates of membership was given to those participants that took part at the event.
Barak also spoke about the coming annual event in New Orleans, Louisiana in this coming June and called for other HR professional to join and enlarge their knowledge, locally and globally.
Eynat Bronfeld-Segal/Country HR Leader (Acting Deputy) of IBM/Israel describes some HR processes in IBM global organization which is done all over the global company including Israel.
Arona Maskil, M.A. Inter-cultural and Cultural Awareness Trainer (a Sr. Consultant with Corporate Resources Group (Israel) Ltd.) gave also a presentation on her topics, focused on the importance of developing Cultural Awareness when communicating cross-border in the 21st century.
The most valuable asset an organization has is its people, and unless they understand how to work in a post-global environment, they and their company cannot succeed in the 21st century. The ability to understand different cultures, to establish relationships and negotiate successfully with diverse stakeholders is central to business growth and success.
On a whole, a short but very professional event that supposed to connect the Israeli HR world to the global HR world and by doing so enrich our local processional capabilities.
